Tijouri is a fine dining restaurant in Bengaluru that celebrates India’s rich culinary heritage through immersive pop-up experiences. Founded by siblings Kaushik and Sanithra Raju, Tijouri collaborates with home cooks from across the country to preserve and showcase India’s micro-cuisines, offering guests an authentic, multi-course dining journey rooted in regional flavors.
To extend this experience, Tijouri’s retail line features artisanal pickles, snacks, sweets, and podis crafted by their chefs. Our team contributed to this vision by creating bespoke illustrations and thoughtful packaging design, bringing the essence of India’s culinary traditions to life both on the plate and beyond.

When Tijouri approached us with their vision of pop-up kitchens featuring different home chefs and cuisines each week, we knew it was going to be something special.
We designed vibrant illustrations inspired by home kitchens—filled with mouth-watering ingredients and spices—to visually capture the rich flavours and tradition behind each dish. By fusing tradition with a playful twist, we aimed to tell the story of each chef’s unique culinary expertise.
The result? Packaging that sparks curiosity and invites you to experience the taste even before you take a bite.

In the discovery phase, we immersed ourselves in Tijouri’s vision of celebrating India’s micro-cuisines through home chef-led pop-ups. By visiting the restaurant, we connected with Tijouri’s philosophy of authentic culinary storytelling and understood their goal to extend this experience through a retail line of chef-crafted products.
Define
In the definition phase, we refined Tijouri’s identity by crafting a visual story that reflected their passion for authentic Indian cuisine. Through thoughtful branding and bespoke illustrations, we developed a cohesive design language that seamlessly connected with their logo’s essence, balancing the warmth of traditional home-cooked meals with the freshness and vibrancy essential for a modern retail brand.

In the design phase, we brought Tijouri’s vision to life with vibrant, engaging packaging inspired by Indian culture. We also designed personalised chef cards, adding a personal touch to each meal and celebrating the chefs. These elements created a cohesive brand experience, both in the restaurant and at home.
Design That Didn't Make the Final Cut
To ensure our clients have a variety to choose from, we always present multiple options. One of these designs focused on the ingredients, evoking the warmth and nostalgia of a home kitchen—bringing back memories of childhood meals, when grandma’s cooking was the ultimate treat.
Although this concept didn’t make the final selection, it remains close to our hearts. It beautifully captured the essence of Tijouri’s vision: the uniqueness of food crafted by home chefs. The illustrations in this design were minimal and elegant, perfectly complementing the simplicity of the concept.
Personalised Cards for Chefs
Tijouri’s vision was to celebrate home chefs and give them the recognition they deserve. To bring this idea to life, we designed personalised chef cards that were placed on every table in the restaurant. This allowed diners to know exactly whose food they were enjoying. The cards introduced each chef’s story and culinary background, offering a deeper connection between the diner and the chef. This simple touch added meaning to the dining experience. It made each meal feel more personal and memorable.
